[Facebook]([Twitter]([Instagram]( [Website](  New M3 Apple iMacs reportedly coming 2nd-half of 2023 POCKET-LINT What's happened? After months of speculation, [new iMac models are said to be on their way](. Why does it matter? Apple is reportedly in the "engineering validation testing" phase of development, which is an indication that full production of the next-generation iMac is imminent. What's my take? The iMac has always been a popular choice, giving you an all-in-one PC solution that looks good from all angles. It was last updated in 2021, moving to M1 - and we're now a generation beyond that. While the Mac mini saw an update in the last throw of Apple's dice, there's the suggestion that the iMac will move straight to M3. It's also said that it will stick at 24-inches, which in my opinion isn't really big enough for this type of computer. The move to M3 might make it powerful but expensive and I'm left wondering what the appetite will be for a powerful AIO with a small(ish) display.  The Samsung Galaxy A54 is on the horizon and won't stop leaking SAMSUNG What's happened? The [Samsung Galaxy A54]( could be announced as soon as next week. Why does it matter? This is likely to be Samsung's best-selling phone this year. What's my take? For all the love the Galaxy S gets - [especially the Galaxy S23 Ultra]( - it's just far too expensive for many people. It might surprise you to discover that many choose a Galaxy A device instead. Rumours are spreading that the Galaxy A54 and A34 will be launched on 15 March, and Samsung did us a favour by leaking the case for the larger of the two itself, so we're certain that's accurate. We're expecting the Galaxy A54 to be Exynos powered with a 6.4.-inch display, and a 50-megapixel camera - as well as an appealing price.  Sony HT-A3000 review: A solid, upgradable, one-box solution POCKET-LINT What's happened? The Sony HT-A3000 is the most affordable model in its A series soundbar lineup, sitting below the HT-A5000 and HT-A7000. But, as impressive as it is, the A7000 will set you back around £1000, making it an unjustifiable expense for a lot of people. The A3000, on the other hand, can be had for around half the price. Our quick verdict We enjoyed our time testing the Sony HT-A3000. It's feature packed and produces great sound as an all-in-one solution. We just wish that the additional speakers were more affordable, as they greatly enhance the experience. That's a 20% price cut on the 10.1-inch slate, with 32GB of storage in black, denim, lavender and olive.  From The Gear Loop RAB We round up [five top-performing waterproof ski and snowboard jackets]( for dry days on the slopes.
