[Facebook]([Twitter]([Instagram]( [Website](  Garmin Forerunner 965 and Forerunner 265 continue the AMOLED revolution GARMIN What's happened? Garmin has announced a [new generation of Forerunner watches]( in the shape of the 965 and 265. Plus, for the first time in this popular running series, we're getting AMOLED displays. Why does it matter? That means brighter, more vivid displays with lots of colour, just like the second generation Garmin Epix launched in 2022. On the 965 it also means more detailed, colourful maps. What's my take? The Garmin Forerunner series has proved extremely popular for those looking for better running, fitness and sports tracking. However, it was falling a bit behind when it came to the watch part of the technology. By adding AMOLED displays, Garmin is making its 965 and 265 watches look as good as they perform. And, without impinging too much on battery life, to boot. It claims the Forerunner 265 will last for up to 15 days on a single charge, while the 965 will last up to 23 days. There are few, if any, smartwatch equivalents that can match that. Even with the display switched to "always-on", it's understood they'll last around a week. That's impressive stuff.  Sky launches F1 Ultra HD channel just in time for new season to start SKY What's happened? From tomorrow, Friday 3 March 2023, [Sky Sports will offer its F1 channel]( in Ultra HD and HDR in the UK as standard - as long as you subscribe to a respective Ultra HD pack. Why does it matter? In previous seasons, the F1 channel has been in HD on the main electronic programme guide, with 4K live broadcasts selectable through the pop-up menu or by pressing the red button. Now though, channel 406 on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream will be a 24/7 UHD channel. What's my take? Sky has been offering its Formula One coverage in 4K for a while, but you had to hunt it down. Now it is available as a standard channel on the platform, just in time for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Considering the BBC has only just made its regional news available in HD, it's clear to see that the Comcast-owned Sky is looking to push the tech boundaries a bit faster than its competitors.  Realme GT 3 initial review: Quick, charge me up POCKET-LINT What's happened? Realme announced the global version of the Realme GT 3 during Mobile World Congress - essentially the same device as the company's GT Neo 5 that launched in February exclusively for China. Like that phone, it can charge from flat to full in 9.5-minutes - we know, impressive right! But, there's plenty more on offer here too which we found out when we went hands-on with the handset. Our quick verdict The Realme GT 3 might be a re-badged Neo 5 but that's no bad thing as that means we get the benefits of its super speedy changing and features in more countries and regions. We haven't spent a huge amount of time with it as yet, but from what we have seen so far, the GT 3 has a lovely design and finish, plus what seems to be a cool feature in the Pulse Interface Design.
