Nintendo has added [a selection of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games]( to its Switch Online paid subscription service for download now. Expansion Pack members also get Game Boy Advance games. Why does it matter? The games are emulated and come in different language options (when the originals were released in different territories separately) and Nintendo promises to add many more to each lineup regularly. What's my take? Nintendo's biggest advantage is the huge lineup of proprietary titles it has, which covers many gaming favourites from over the years. Switch owners can now take advantage of these, giving the opportunity to revisit some of the Game Boy classics. While this is a big move, some might find it's only good for very casual gaming. We love returning to retro titles, but once you see those vintage graphics and wrestle with fiddly controls, you might soon return to a modern classic instead.  Google Lens will soon search your screen from any Android app POCKET-LINT What's happened? Google has announced [big upgrades to its Lens software](, giving it the ability to search the screen across all Android apps with the long press of a button. Why does it matter? The new Google Lens experience allows for global use of a "search your screen" feature that will make it easier to search for whatever you're looking at. What's my take? Google wants to move search from text based, to image based. We've seen quite a lot of that through Google Lens in the past, but the feature is now getting boosted to work across your device. The idea is that it can help you identify what you see on your phone, without you having to know what you're looking at and then typing a query into Google search. It all hangs on clever AI to identify what something is and then give you contextual relevance. So, if someone sends you a picture, you can get Google Lens to identify where or what it is and get more information.  A MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSOR Never run out of power with Oukitel Abearl P5000 and Oukitel Abearl P5000 Pro Generators OUKITEL It's always a good idea to have a backup source of power. POCKET-LINT What's happened? The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 was one of our favourite Windows laptops ever, and now its predecessor has arrived, the Surface Laptop 5. From the outside, the new model looks identical to the previous generation, aside from the addition of a new colourway. That means it offers excellent build quality, a great screen and one of the best keyboards around. But is there more going on under the surface? Our quick verdict There are not many new features to get excited about on the Surface Laptop 5, but it's a small improvement to one of our favourite laptops, which makes it easy to recommend.
