Apple may launch an [even more premium iPhone]( than its current Pro and Pro Max models. Why does it matter? The new iPhone, referred to as the Ultra, could launch as soon as 2024 with the iPhone 16 lineup. What's my take? The rumours suggest that Apple wants to go bigger, better and more powerful, with an Ultra device that sits above the Pro - but many feel that the Pro Max is already big enough. Apple could certainly turn the dial on its hardware to produce more power, but I have a big problem with this idea and where Apple might take it. The aim seems to be to create a more premium device to secure a higher asking price. Adding premium camera features is an obvious area where Apple could do more, with zoom the obvious target, but in terms of sheer power - is Apple then creating a more powerful device for the sake of saying it's more powerful without any real-world benefits? I think I'd prefer to see the awkward Pro Max evolve into an Ultra device, leaving the capable Pro model not that far behind.  The Nothing phone (2) has its first leak with specs and release window teased POCKET-LINT What's happened? There's going to be a follow-up to the Nothing phone, and everyone is calling it the [Nothing phone (2)](. Why does it matter? The new model is expected to launch in the US, opening up new markets. What's my take? Nothing is on a mission to change the story around tech, looking to make the hardware vanish and just the experience to shine. The first phone was a mid-range handset, and aside from the hype, offered good value for money. Little is known about the next model, but increasing whispers - including coming from company founder Carl Pei - suggest that we're in a new media cycle. With Mobile World Congress at the end of the month, we're expecting to hear a little more about this device - and those in the US should pay attention, because this could be a clean and affordable device to offer an alternative to the Pixel.  Varjo Aero VR headset review: Another PCVR masterpiece? 2K GAMES What's happened? Varjo is known for crafting a particular class of high-end virtual reality headset, designed for enterprise use and VR enthusiasts. The Varjo Aero is part of that line-up and is likely the company's most user-friendly consumer-oriented device. Yet at $1,990 (just for the headset), it's a far cry from the accessible and affordable Meta Quest 2. That's because this device is built for PCVR and sits in a class of premium VR headsets that includes the likes of the Pimax 8K X, the HTC Vive Pro 2 and the HTC Vive XR Elite. Our quick verdict The Varjo Aero is a high-end PCVR headset with superb features and specs that make it incredibly appealing. This does come at a cost though.
