Samsung has announced its new flagship phone for 2023, [the Galaxy S23 Ultra](. It launched alongside regular [Galaxy S23]( and S23+ models. Why does it matter? This is Samsung's showcase of the best it has to offer. What's my take? The design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is much the same as the S22 Ultra and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. There's more power - with a custom [Snapdragon for Galaxy]( chipset based on the new 8 Gen 2 - but it's the 200-megapixel camera that will attract the most attention. Indeed, this is the biggest change from the 2022 model and indeed about the only thing to separate it from the [Galaxy S23+]( (apart from the S Pen and a slight design tweak). Samsung is hoping that the high resolution sensor can boost images enough to make it attractive to customers - otherwise they may well opt for a discounted Galaxy S22 Ultra from last year instead.  Samsung Galaxy Book 3 wants to play nice with your other Samsung devices, gets latest Intel hardware POCKET-LINT What's happened? Samsung has updated its [Galaxy Book family](, now in generation 3, including the new flagship Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Why does it matter? Samsung wants these notebooks to play nice with other Samsung devices - and challenge the MacBook Pro. What's my take? There's a premium sheen to the new Galaxy Book 3 family, with a full selection of options, from the [regular notebooks](, to the flexible [Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360]( and finally the [Galaxy Book 3 Ultra](. The design and specification - including the connectivity - is similar across the board, with all offering 13-gen Intel hardware. The 360 is the only option with 5G and a touchscreen, because it wants to be more versatile. The Ultra, however, gets its name because it's equipped with discrete graphics, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 and 4050 options. It's also expensive, with prices well over $/£2,000.  Polk MagniFi Mini AX review: All the sound with none of the size POCKET-LINT What's happened? The Polk MagniFi Mini AX is a soundbar with a bit of a difference - it's not really much of a bar at all. Instead of the usual lengthy oblong shape, the Mini AX takes a form more akin to a portable Bluetooth speaker. This means that it's ideal for certain living rooms, where a traditional soundbar just won't fit, or smaller rooms like a bedroom or kitchen. Our quick verdict If you're looking for a compact TV audio solution, we think the Polk MagniFi Mini AX is one of the best options available today. It looks good, sounds great and comes at a reasonable price.
