Bowers & Wilkins has [refreshed its true wireless earbuds range](, with new versions of the Pi7 and Pi5. Why does it matter? The B&W Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2 buds benefit from better battery life and now come in additional colours. They also have enhanced wireless connectivity and extended Bluetooth range thanks to a redesigned antenna - now up to 25-metres. What's my take? Bowers & Wilkins make some great headphones and this update boosts the appeal of already-great in-ears. One of the great features of the Pi7 S2 is the ability to transmit using the case, meaning you can connect it to a source that lacks Bluetooth and still listen wirelessly. That's great for travelling, connecting to in-flight entertainment, for example. Support for high-fidelity audio and a solid battery life rounds out the package for these good looking earbuds.  Xbox Developer_Direct games showcase is tonight POCKET-LINT.COM What's happened? A Developer_Direct presentation [will be streamed online today](, which will give us extended gameplay showcases on several major in-house titles. Why does it matter? Although The Game Awards was a busy affair at the end of last year, there was one company conspicuous by its absence. Very little noise came from Xbox. What's my take? The Xbox showcase is expected to see a number of titles previewed, including the likes of Forza Motorsport and Redfall. The anticipated Starfield will not be featured, because it's getting its own showcase. It's must-see viewing for Xbox gamers and will give you a sense of what's in development and what's coming later in the year, so you know what to get excited about.  Microsoft Surface Pro 9 review: A master of versatility POCKET-LINT What's happened? Microsoft's Surface line of devices has cemented itself with users, spanning laptops, desktops and the original 2-in-1 design that the Surface Pro typifies. The Surface Pro 9 makes a slight change to previous iterations, bringing two distinct options, the more conventional Intel-powered version and the ARM-based version that essentially supplants the Surface Pro X. We used the Intel-powered Surface Pro 9 as a daily driver working on Pocket-lint. Our quick verdict The Surface Pro 9 is a versatile 2-in-1, offering 12-gen Intel power, great keyboard covers and strong battery life in a premium design. Offering full access to Windows functions, it betters other laptop replacements, but it is on the pricey side.
