Apple is reportedly [working on an upgrade]( for its Apple TV device lineup, bringing faster performance to its already pretty snappy set-top box. Why does it matter? The new box will apparently feature a new chip to power its enhanced responsiveness, but knowing Apple we would also assume that it'll bring some additional features to the table. What's my take? According to this rumour, Apple is planning another update to the Apple TV, using faster internals. The report is rather vague, suggesting a 2024 update, so we're looking into the future here. That could mean that Samsung it setting itself up to challenge some of the gaming laptops or creator laptops - likely with the MacBook Pro in its sights. [Galaxy Unpacked]( could be bumper event - and there's only a week to go.  LG G3 OLED evo initial review: Bright and bold POCKET-LINT What's happened? LG revealed a range of OLED TVs during CES 2023, and while there were a couple that garnered more interest than others - the transparent model and the wireless M3 specifically - the flagship G3 OLED evo and the C3 OLED evo are perhaps the more exciting to us mere mortals, as we'll likely be priced out of the other options. Our quick verdict It is, of course, very hard to judge a TV based on a short demo in a hotel room, but based on what we've seen of the LG G3 OLED so far, we’re excited to get this in for review to see if it is as striking as it initially seemed.
