Microsoft's next foldable phone [might actually fold](. Why does it matter? While the Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 were both foldables, they didn't actually fold in the sense that many would expect. What's my take? A new report suggests that the next folding device from Microsoft might actually have a folding display. The launch of the Surface Duo models was extraordinarily slow, with a long tease from Microsoft before they actually landed. And, while there was a book-like unfolding design, both displays were conventional. Moving to a true foldable display would give Microsoft something to shout about, moving with the times - but the question is whether Microsoft will quickly bring a new folding Surface device to market, or if it will be out of date before it actually becomes available?  Samsung Galaxy S23 launch confirmed, Unpacked teaser videos also show camera SAMSUNG What's happened? We've now got [official confirmation]( that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on Wednesday 1 February 2023. Why does it matter? We'll see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones, at the very least. What's my take? Finally, the rumours are over and we can mark our calendars. Samsung will unveil its new devices on 1 February, with an event in San Francisco. That's going to see the unveiling of the [Samsung Galaxy S23](, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. We're expecting all these models to look similar, adopting the design of the S22 Ultra. There may be a move to a 200MP main camera on the Ultra, while rumours say that all the phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. We suspect that there will be incremental changes from the previous model, but the use of a green hue suggests that the launch colour will be, well, green.  Marshall Acton III review: Classically musical POCKET-LINT What's happened? Marshall’s approach to its speakers has been an interesting one in the last couple of years - defaulting very much to the classic “if it ain’t broke” mindset. That’s pretty much fair enough when it comes to the design side of things. After all, Marshall’s grilles and logos are rightly iconic. Minor refreshes are always welcome, though, and that’s what the Acton III represents - a small improvement to a great speaker. Our quick verdict This is a great speaker on its own terms and is for anyone who wants a simple, classic-looking speaker in their life. Where things get a little tougher for Marshall is on the features side of things - it's a pretty bare-bones offering. We're sure its excellent design and superb build quality will mean it finds fans, but those who want a bit more connectivity from their speakers might need to look elsewhere.
