Apple's [rumoured autonomous car]( isn't going to be quite as capable as we'd been told to expect, according to a new report that says it'll be late, too. Why does it matter? The piece by Bloomberg's well-connected Mark Gurman says that the company has had to revise its plans. What's my take? Apple Car rumours have been [circulating for many years](, but in recent times these seem to have been about delays to the programme. The latest suggests a move back towards the rest of the market, with Gurman essentially saying that Apple Car could offer autonomous driving that's no different to other cars already available - i.e., that it will be hands-free on the highway. Legislation is a big deal here, for the entire industry. I was recently driven by the BMW i7 on the highway in California, where it's legal to take your hands off the wheel in that particular car. Not everywhere will allow that, not because cars can't do it, but the legal framework isn't in place. Apple Car is often talked about in tech circles like some sort of holy grail. Apple is great at creating a seamless customer experience and I don't doubt the UX would be spot on - but I also don't think it will be that different to existing options.  Call of Duty will return to Nintendo after buyout, Microsoft confirms ACTIVISION What's happened? Microsoft has confirmed that Call of Duty will return to Nintendo, as well as staying on Steam, [with a new 10-year commitment]( if its proposed takeover of Activision Blizzard is approved. Why does it matter? Call of Duty was last seen on Nintendo during the Wii U era. What's my take? Microsoft has made quite a big announcement, confirming that Call of Duty will be available on Nintendo Switch and remain on Steam, as long as the Activision buyout is ratified. This comes after previously confirming it would remain on PlayStation, too. It puts paid to worries that Call of Duty will become an Xbox or PC exclusive. It's simply not the case - and with Call of Duty expanding its offering with more mobile offerings too, it looks like you'll be able to play CoD however you want - for the next 10 years, at least.  RIG 800 Pro HS headset review: Ready to dock POCKET-LINT What's happened? The market for gaming headsets is getting so crowded and competitive that any marginal gain is being fought over by audio businesses tooth and nail. This might be the mentality that has led RIG to throw in a charging dock that nicely displays its 800 Pro headset lineup while you're not using it - why not, eh? It's not a brand-new idea, but could it be indicative of a generosity that makes the RIG 800 Pro HS worth picking up? Our quick verdict RIG's new headset is nice and comfortable to wear, and its charging dock is a nice idea, although middle-of-the-road sound means it doesn't feel like an astounding entry in a crowded field.
