Paramount+ [will be available]( as a dedicated channel on British Airways' in-flight entertainment system from this month. Why does it matter? The streaming service, which launched in the UK earlier this year, will appear in curated form. BA's Highlife platform will therefore including exclusive Paramount+ TV series to watch on demand during flights in all cabin classes. What's my take? Now that streaming services have taken over our mobile devices and TVs, they are looking for other opportunities. So, why not head to the skies too? After all, on demand content has been available on flights for many years, across all cabin classes. Long gone are the days of a movie being played on a screen at the front of the cabin that you can barely see if you're sat at the rear. We expect all streaming platforms to get a slice of this action in the next year or so. And, for the likes of Paramount+, it gives them a captive audience who might want to continue watching an exclusive series when they return home. Kerching!  RCA Roku TVs launch in the UK, starting at an amazing £130 SAMSUNG What's happened? RCA has joined the list of TV manufacturers to [release Roku TVs in the UK](. Why does it matter? Available in 32-, 40- and 55-inch screen sizes, the RCA Roku TVs come in HD and 4K HDR resolutions and start at just £129.99. What's my take? Third-party smart TV platforms, like Roku, Fire TV and Google/Android TV provide a great opportunity for lesser-known manufacturers to offer a great, content rich user experience without needing to invest in their own systems. Roku TV, in particular, is growing its partner list greatly, and the thing that stands out about this story, for me, is that it provides an opportunity for an pro-standard platform to be added to very reasonably-priced hardware. That could help those feeling the crunch during the cost of living crisis to get access to their preferred streaming platforms, without needing to break the bank.  A MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSORS These 5 ecozy appliances are thoughtful gifts to give someone this holiday ROBOROCK Gifts make the holidays special.
