Twitter CEO Elon Musk gave employees an ultimatum - get hardcore, or leave. Turns out hundreds [took the latter option]( - with Twitter outages predicted. Why does it matter? Reports claim that hundreds of Twitter employees decided to quit rather than sign up for whatever Musk has in mind. Twitter's internal Slack channels were reportedly full of people saying that they would rather leave than work under the conditions Musk described. What's my take? Oh dear, oh dear. Caught in the crossfire of Musk's powerplay are plenty of people who just love Twitter for the comedy threads and personalities it throws up. While Twitter wasn't perfect, it was unique in many ways. I'm sure it will survive, but there are many talking about [downloading their tweets]( before they're lost in the graveyard of billionaire play things.  Black Friday is serving up plenty of deals AMAZON What's happened? In many ways, it's a lot like Microsoft's own Surface Pro X, or the newly released Surface Pro 9 5G, which both utilise ARM processors and feature a similar form factor. What makes the Xiaomi Book S so interesting, though, is its pricing. It's significantly cheaper than Microsoft's offerings and promises a similar experience with comparable specifications. Our quick verdict The Xiaomi Book S is a robust and attractive Surface rival, with an excellent display. It's well priced, but unfortunately, the sluggish performance and middling battery life make it tough to recommend. [Read our review.](  In Case You Missed it [Lenovo Tab Extreme]( leaks with a big screen and slim bezels. --- Asus has launched a hellish limited [ROG Phone 6 Diablo Immortal Edition](. --- Amazon Echo Dot 5 gen, 2022 release has a [Black Friday offer with a 51% saving, at just £26.99]( (was £54.99).
