Snapchat owner Snap Inc has [reportedly ditched development]( on its Pixy selfie drone just four months after launch. Why does it matter? Existing units will continue to be sold in the US (and France, we believe), but the $230 flying camera will not be upgraded, replaced with a newer model or make its way to other markets. What's my take? The leak comes from the WSJ, which cites "people familiar with the matter", and considering Snap posted less than stellar results in its latest earnings report, it makes sense the company would shelve a product that hasn't really "taken off" yet. As cool and interesting the Pixy drone seemed at launch, it never made it outside the US and, perhaps surprisingly, France. It is a shame though, that innovation like this often goes unrewarded today. Like its AR Spectacles, the Pixy might not be to everyone's taste, but at least Snap was trying something different. However, with many now wondering where the cash is coming from simply to keep the lights on, we might see the end of more unique and unusual tech launches for a while. The choice between flying selfie camera or weekly food shop will only result in one winner, I'm afraid. House of the Dragon final trailer released ahead of premiere this weekend HBO What's happened? Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, will premiere this weekend on HBO in the US and Sky in the UK, but HBO has given us one final teaser beforehand. Why does it matter? The company dropped a [one-minute trailer titled 'Fire Will Reign']( and it begins with the voice of Viserys Targaryen saying: "The road ahead is uncertain, but the end is clear." What's my take?
