Get them to [sign up here.]( Motorola cancels its Razr 2022 and X30 Pro launch event MOTOROLA What's happened? Motorola [abruptly cancelled]( a planned launch event where it was expected unveil the latest in its [Razr line]( of folding smartphones and the [X30 Pro](. Why does it matter? The unveiling of both was scheduled to happen on 2 August, but instead a Weibo post from Chen Jin, general manager at Motorola and Lenovo mobile, confirmed that the event has been killed off. What's my take? This is a most intriguing twist in Motorola's recent story. Cancelling an event for the launch of a flagship device with lots of global interest is a bold move. Thus far, there's no explanation as to why it might have happened. With these events taking plentiful resources, this decision can't have been made lightly. Whether this was to be a live event or a pre-record, I don't know - but if it's the latter, then that's an easier call for Moto. It can simply roll the tape whenever it decides it's ready to launch. But having stumbled with the Razr previously, this will send an uncertain message - and with Samsung launching the [Galaxy Z Flip 4]( next week, it's going to lose publicity to the market leader in foldables. Some are suggesting that supply chain issues might have meant that Motorola is less certain about getting the devices to market - but in truth, we just don't know what happened. Spotify separates Shuffle and Play buttons for premium users SPOTIFY What's happened? Spotify is [separating the shuffle and play buttons]( found at the top of playlists and artist pages, but only if you're a paying customer. Why does it matter? Currently, most users will see a combined play and shuffle button, which can be a little confusing. What's my take? Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. Spotify has had a huge barrier to user experience in its app, meaning that it played on shuffle by default. That's the most irritating thing when you've found a curated playlist or when you fire up an artist's page and then don't hear what you're expecting to. Previously you'd have to turn off the shuffle option just to play down the list or album order. Sure, shuffle is great for parties and discovery, but sometimes you just want to listen to your favourite album in order, just like you did 20 years ago. Insta360 Link review: A robot camera operator for live streamers POCKET-LINT What's happened? Insta360 may have made a name for itself with its impressive 360-degree cameras, but it's certainly not the first name that comes to mind when you're looking for a webcam. With the release of the Insta360 Link, however, the brand is looking to change that. Our quick verdict If you can take advantage of this webcam's unique features, we don't doubt that you'll be pleased with it. It's not the right choice for everyone, and some will be deterred by the high asking price, but the quality is top-notch and it's capable of more than any webcam that we've come across, making it easy to recommend.
