Get them to [sign up here.]( Amazon Prime price hike coming to UK and Europe next AMAZON What's happened? Amazon raised the price of Amazon Prime in the US in February and now it's time for Brits and Europeans to [feel the pinch](. Why does it matter? From 15 September 2022, the price of Amazon Prime membership in the UK will increase from £7.99 per month to £8.99, or from £79 to £95 if you pay annually. Price rises across Europe are a touch more steep, with France seeing the biggest jump, from €49 per year to €69.90. What's my take? This is happening across the board, I'm afraid. Netflix raised its prices earlier this year, so too will Amazon soon. Those in the US have already been paying elevated prices for Prime over the last few months, and those of us in the UK or mainland Europe will have to as well. There is a way to defer it though, especially if you are a new member; just make sure you take out an annual subscription before 15 September. That way, you'll only have to pay the original price for 12-months. In all honesty, Amazon has been pretty good to its Prime customers over the years. This price increase may seem a little steep, but it's the first in the UK since 2014. And, in the interim, the amount of services added to Prime membership has grown significantly. Prime Video, unlimited next-day delivery, access to eBooks and magazines at no extra cost, Prime Gaming, and a whole lot more. It is tough to find the extra pennies though, not least during a cost of living crisis. I don't think we've seen the end of subscription service price hikes neither. Will Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ be based on Frank Miller's comic run? POCKET-LINT What's happened? Daredevil fans were treated to the news they've been waiting for during Comic-Con, with confirmation that the man without fear will be r[eturning to the small screen](. The new show for Disney+ will be titled Daredevil: Born Again. Why does it matter? Those in the know will immediately get goosebumps as that's the name of arguably the finest story run in the comic book's history. What's my take? Written by multiple award winner Frank Miller with art by David Mazzucchelli, the 1986 story arc pretty much did for Daredevil what Miller's other masterpiece, The Dark Knight Returns, did for Batman. So it's extremely exciting to hear that it could form the basis for the returning TV series. There's just a couple of caveats, however. First, the Netflix Daredevil seasons (now on Disney+) already used elements from the Born Again run. Also, while currently unconfirmed, it's a sure-fire bet that the new series will be toned down a touch, with a younger age rating than the original's 18+. As you'll find out if you pick up the trade paperback of Daredevil: Born Again, it's pretty bleak, starting with Matt Murdock's ex-girlfriend selling his secret identify to Kingpin for a drug fix. I'm not entirely sure that'll survive Disney-fication. Still, the fact that Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio will be reprising their roles is enough for me, for now. There have been some excellent interactive story games released in recent times, with The Quarry and Life is Strange: True Colors particularly standing out. As Dusk Falls is definitely of the same ilk, but the Xbox exclusive has enough about it to make it stand out a touch. Our quick verdict As Dusk Falls offers a fun, interesting story that you will undoubtedly find captivating enough for a full playthrough. It offers plenty of interactivity, an excellent cast and truly impactful decisions that can change the course of the narrative. However, it also has an odd art style that takes some getting used to and we can't see ourselves picking it up for a second outing anytime soon.
