Get them to [sign up here.]( Xiaomi prepares to launch the Xiaomi 12S Series Xiaomi What's happened? Xiaomi will launch the much-rumoured 12S, 12S Pro and 12S Ultra models today. Why does it matter? Having entered into a partnership with camera company Leica, the three new phones are expected to feature a significant camera step-up over the unit on the rear of the standard Xiaomi 12 models. What's my take? Leica has been making amazing cameras for decades, but this isn't its first mobile phone partnership - it previously worked with Huawei. Bur Xiaomi presumably hopes that some of Leica's camera heritage and phone experience with its previous partner can rub off on this new range, too. With the camera continuing to be so important in smartphone purchase decisions, it could turn out to be a shrewd move. - [How to watch the 12S launch]( Future of F1 is all-electric, says Williams driver Alex Albon Pocket-lint What's happened? What's my take? Not sure what Formula E would have to say about this, or the petrol heads that love the sound and noise that F1 provides, but I suspect Albon is right.
