Samsung has [rolled out the Gaming Hub]( it announced earlier this year to its 2022 TVs, meaning you can play Xbox Game Pass and other cloud-streamed games directly on your TV. Why does it matter? The new Hub also includes Nvidia GeForce Now and Stadia, with US Samsung TV owners to get Amazon Luna support in the coming months, too. What's my take? The headline app of Samsung's new Gaming Hub is clearly Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass, but there are others worth considering as well. Stadia, for example, is another interesting proposition, while Nvidia's GeForce Now enables you to play many of the PC games you've bought already through the likes of Steam and the Epic Games Store. It amounts to a premium games centre that no longer relies on a wheezing box under the telly - just grab a controller and away you go. We're a long way of seeing the end of dedicated consoles, with latency and streaming hiccups still a barrier to the purest of gaming experiences, but this is a great way for casual gamers to have access to titles they might not have considered in the past. I'm sure it will expand quickly too, with other TV manufacturers jumping on board in the coming months (Stadia is already on Android TVs from Philips, for example), while Microsoft itself is making overtures at releasing its own Xbox Game Pass streaming dongle. So, while you might not have access to nor plan to buy a recent Samsung QLED, you'll undoubtedly be able to play all the latest and greatest games sans console shortly. As long as you're willing to cough up yet another subscription fee, of course. EU extends mobile data roaming to 2032 Guillaume Perigois / Unsplash What's happened? Citizens of European Union countries will be able to [continue to use their mobile phones]( in other EU member states without incurring extra charges for another decade. Why does it matter? With the original agreement expiring yesterday, 30 June 2022, a new regulation came into force today, 1 July 2022. It will last until 2032. What's my take? This is great news for all mobile phone users across the EU, who can not only continue to use services in other EU member states without incurring extra charges, but now 5G too. It has no impact on UK mobile customers, of course. Most networks have now introduced post-Brexit roaming fees for users travelling to European countries. Almost all now charge a flat fee of £2 per day, with Virgin Media O2 a rare exception. Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 review: Buff up Pocket-lint What's happened?
