Get them to [sign up here.]( Huawei MateBook 16s and MateBook D16 laptops bring large displays and premium designs Huawei What's happened? Huawei introduced two laptops at its portfolio during an event in Berlin yesterday. Both the MateBook D16 and the MateBook 16s feature sleek aluminium designs and large 16-inch displays. Why does it matter? The more premium Huawei MateBook 16s sits at the top of the company's regular MateBook series and it runs on the 12th Intel Core H-series processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The 16-inch FullView display has a 2520 x 1680 resolution, a screen-to-body ratio of 90 per cent thanks to super slim bezels and an aspect ratio of 3:2 rather than the more traditional 16:9. What's my take? Huawei might not be the name it once was when it comes to smartphones, but that hasn't stopped the company pushing forward in other areas. And that means this week we've been treated to new laptops and headphones from the company as it looks to offera viable alternative. And judging from Pocket-lint deputy editor Britta O'Boyle, the company might be on to something: "The Huawei MateBook 16s is certainly a striking laptop in terms of design. It offers a premium look and feel, with plenty of features on board. The large touch display is great and responsive and there's plenty of punch in terms of colours, while the surrounding slim bezels make for a lovely viewing experience." - [Huawei MateBook 16s initial review: Taking on the MacBook Pro]( Nikon Z30 mirrorless camera is primarily designed for vloggers Nikon What's happened? Nikon has [announced]( a mirrorless camera model that's aimed at vloggers and content creators. Why does it matter? The Nikon Z30 features a DX-format 20.9-megapixel CMOS sensor with electronic vibration reduction built into the camera itself. It shoots video in up to 4K with Full HD at 120 frames-per-second also available. What's my take? It appears that the days of you and I buying a camera are long gone. Now you need to have a profession.
