Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who has an excellent track record for Apple rumours has suggested that we'll see lots of new products over the next year as Apple continues to push forward with hardware advancements. Why does it matter? If you thought supply chain issues or a lack of appetite for new devices might slow Apple down over the next 12 months, think again. What's my take? Okay, so a lot of these predictions are predictable. Accordingly, there will be new [iPads]( new iPhones, new watches, and new MacBooks all coming over the course of the next 6 months, along with new HomePods, new [Apple TVs]( and new AirPods. Add that to rumours from others that the [Apple VR/AR glasses]( could come in January and it's going to be a busy time from September for both Apple fans and the company. And with most of those products expected to launch ahead of the holiday season, that's a lot to take in, and if you're an Apple fan, save up for. Spotify finally bringing Friend Activity to mobile via new Community hub Unsplash What's happened? Spotify is testing a [Community feature]( for mobile that finally enables users to see what their friends are listening to using the phone/tablet app. Why does it matter? Until now, the only way to see what your Spotify or Facebook friends are listening to is through the desktop app, thanks to the Friends Activity bar, but now it seems you could soon have similar functionality on mobile too. What's my take? On the plus side you'll be able to discover cool new music that your mates are listening too, on the down side your secret music crush might be accidentally be discovered.
