Get them to [sign up here.]( Paramount+ launches in the UK ViacomCBS What's happened? The Paramount+ streaming service has launched in the UK and Ireland. Now's your chance to catch up on Star Trek, the Halo TV series and more. What's more, it's [free for Sky Cinema subscribers](. Why does it matter? This is the last of the big services to launch in the UK and adds to the growing list of mainstream platforms, such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV+. What's my take? ViacomCBS' back catalogue is expansive and interesting enough to lure in quite a few viewers, I think. Plus, the deal with Sky in the UK - whereby Sky Cinema subscribers on Sky Q and Sky Glass get it free - means that the service will get a healthy base of users from day one. But, as Netflix has found, a back catalogue only gets you so far. The service will need to continue to invest in new shows and exclusive movies for Paramount+ to be considered a must-have. Top Gun Maverick, which should be exclusive to the service when it comes to streaming, will help. However, it's going to take more than Tom Cruise or James T. Kirk for it to succeed. - [Six great shows to watch on Paramount+ as it launches in UK]( Philips Hue Go table lamp and Perifo track lighting join 2022 lineup Signify / Philips Hue What's happened? Signify has [announced]( several new products and features coming to the Philips Hue range soon. Why does it matter? Highlights include a couple of firsts for the smart lighting brand - a portable table lamp and a fully customisable track lighting system. What's my take? Signify, the company that owns Philips Hue, continues to expand its smart lighting options. The latest announced products add to what seems like endless possibilities - so much so, I can't see any other company being able to come close for a complete smart home lighting solution at the moment. The question for Signify though, is whether making its lineup so diverse and, at times, very niche will allow it to retain focus? Or will it just start to get confusing? Time will tell. Master & Dynamic MW75 review: Premium alternative Pocket-lint What's happened? Master & Dynamic may not be one of the juggernauts of the headphones market, but it does specialise in producing attractive and premium products. And for 2022, the New York company has delivered the MW75 - a bigger and bolder sibling to the MW65 released three years ago. Our quick verdict The MW75 headphones are the company's finest to date. They might not be the absolute perfect pair when it comes to noise-cancelling or portability, but you’re unlikely to find another option with the same combination of premium materials and exciting, dynamic sound.
