Huawei has [unveiled]( a couple of new models to join its popular fitness tracking watch range. And these two are all about the luxury materials. Why does it matter? There's the Huawei GT 3 Pro Titanium, a 46.6mm model which comes with a choice of fluoroelastomer, leather or titanium bands, and then the smaller 43mm Huawei GT 3 Pro Ceramic. What's my take? As the smartwatch market continues to grow and mature, manufacturers are finding that to get noticed they have to "up their game". For Huawei, that urge to deliver the best means embracing materials that, until now, we've only briefly seen on the Apple Watch. That's no bad thing in my books - especially when you look at how much they cost and realise that you are getting luxury materials at rock bottom prices. - [Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro initial review: Luxury sports tracking on your wrist]( New laptops announced by HP, Asus, Acer and more HP What's happened? Several major laptop manufacturers, including [HP]( [Acer]( and [Asus](. are refreshing existing lines or launching new laptops this week and next in the run up to PC trade show Computex. Why does it matter? Think of this as a spring refresh, with companies showing their new wares before getting them into shops before the back to school shopping window. What's my take? The releases started last week but have really gathered pace this. They're likely to continue into next week too. The updates have been impressive too, as laptop makers continue to enjoy the hybrid work from home environment many of us now find ourselves in. And, as technologies improve, so do the capabilities. For example, the new HP Omen 16 (pictured above) comes with specs akin to a desktop, yet without all that bulk. Even the gaming laptops are getting thin and sexy (if you can go that far). The Vivo X80 Pro continues a line of flagship-grade devices, looking to muscle into the global market. Our quick verdict The Vivo X80 Pro is a viable flagship phone.
