Get them to [sign up here.]( Sony WH-1000XM5 official with a new design, enhanced performance and noise cancellation Sony What's happened? Sony has [announced]( the fifth-generation of its award-winning WH-1000X headphones. Why does it matter? Since their launch in 2016, the Sony WH-1000X series have been among the most popular over-ear headphones for travellers - or anyone who values class-leading noise cancellation. What's my take? Sony's headphones are one of the most popular offerings on the market. This year's outing sees one of the biggest updates we've seen in recent years, as well as a bold change to the design. It's a big step that should make these appeal to even more people and potentially a must have buy. Lego unveils a transforming Optimus Prime kit Lego What's happened? Lego has [unveiled]( yet another stirring pop-culture team-up, this time with Hasbro to bring an iconic Transformer robot to life in the form of Autobot leader Optimus Prime. Why does it matter? The kit, which will come out on 1 June 2022, has 19 points of articulation to let you swap between his truck-mode disguise and fully robotic form. What's my take? Lego's continued effort to appeal to middle-aged men continues. In a couple of years' time, I suspect there will be more Lego on shelves as trophies rather than in a bucket ready to be turned into yet another spaceship. As someone that has already filled a number of shelves with Lego sets, I'm not sure that's an issue, though ;) A MESSAGE FROM SPONSOR Comparing Nvidia's GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs to its 10-series models Pocket-lint You can now get a powerful, portable laptop from a host of manufacturers, and it doesn't have to cost the earth either.
