Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has [announced]( Instagram will test a way for users to display non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on their profiles. Why does it matter? "We're starting building for NFTs, not just in our metaverse and Reality Labs work, but also across our family of apps," he said in a video posted on Facebook on Monday. "We're starting to test digital collectibles on Instagram so that creators and collectors can display their NFTs." What's my take? Just over a year since Beeple sold an NFT for $69m, big companies are wading in on the action too. The main issue though is that it seems the bubble might have already burst. My Twitter timeline is full of stories of NFTs that were bought for millions and then resold for pennies, celebrities trying to capitalise on ludicrous NFT sales, and people complaining about the recent drop in the value of bitcoin. I suspect NFT's aren't going away anytime soon, but I can't help feel that this feature might already be past its moment. Is Motorola working on a rollable smartphone? Pocket-lint What's happened? A recent [report]( claims that Motorola is developing a rollable smartphone, codenamed Felix. Why does it matter? This would take a similar form to the Oppo X 2021 concept, which features a flexible display that rolls out from within one of the edges in order to expand to a larger size. What's my take? Foldable devices are so old hat it seems that phone manufacturers are already looking at the next, next thing. And, as we've seen from the rollable [Oppo X concept]( from last year, rollable displays are possible. Now the tech could be coming from others beyond Oppo. I wouldn't expect your next phone to be a rollable device, and probably not even the one after that, but at some point in the future it will happen. And when it does, I'll be keen to have a play - maybe even have one in my own pocket. It proved a bolt from the blue that basically tore up what we knew about multiplayer shooters, with unique characters to choose from and endless synergy to work out. Now, the sequel is on the immediate horizon. Our quick verdict Overwatch 2 is shaping up oddly. It still has moments of the highest quality to offer up, but it also feels more like a really big patch for the first game than an all-new title. Its character reworks are interesting but not game-changing, while shrinking the team size hasn't been a simple win. It might not be the silver bullet Blizzard would have hoped for, but time will tell.
