Google has been rumoured to have been working on the "Pixel Watch" for some time, with a possible announcement at [Google I/O]( in May. What's my take? With Google I/O just around the corner and rumours gathering pace, I suspect it won't be long before we see the Pixel Watch in some form or another. Regardless, I can't believe that I've been in the industry long enough to see two major product announcements spoiled by their prototypes being found in a bar. And if you wondering, the first one was the iPhone 4 way back in 2010. - [Google Pixel Watch rumours, specs and news]( Huawei Mate Xs 2 to launch on 28 April Pocket-lint What's happened? Huawei's next foldable smartphone is due to be [announced]( very soon. The manufacturer has posted on social media that it plans to host a launch event for the Mate Xs 2 on 28 April. Why does it matter? This will be the follow-up model to the Mate X2, although the naming suggests it may follow on in the spirit of the [first Mate Xs](. What's my take? There are plenty of ways this could go, and while we've not heard too much about foldables recently, it's clear that many companies, including Huawei, are continuing to push ahead with the form factor. With Samsung still very much dominating the space though, whatever Huawei announces this week will have to be something special if it's to leapfrog Samsung's efforts.
