Meta (previously Oculus) has held its second annual [Meta Quest Gaming Showcase]( an event dedicated to VR gaming news and updates. Why does it matter? The company continues to push forward with its belief that, someday, we'll all be living in the "metaverse", and if we are, we will want to be entertained with a number of fun games, including a retelling of Ghostbusters. What's my take? I ain't 'fraid of no VR! You'll be able to watch TV in self-driving cars in the UK - but still not touch your phone Pocket-lint What's happened? The Department for Transport has outlined changes to The Highway Code that will allow drivers to watch content on screens in the car when a self-driving car has control. Why does it matter? The [announcement]( is a nod to changes in the rules that will be needed for those on the UK's roads to take advantage of the technologies that future cars will offer, with a full legal framework expected to be in place by 2025. What's my take? Before you see this as an excuse to press the adaptive cruise control with lane changing button on your car when you're next on the motorway and fire up Netflix, don't. Yes, you could argue this will be great for those Bank Holiday traffic jam moments, but my worry is that what happens when the traffic picks up and you've got 5 minutes left of the TV to find out the episode cliff-hanger? Will you be tempted to carry on watching? I remember being in taxi in Moscow a number of years ago, when the driver was doing exactly that, but with a portable DVD player. The problem was, he kept on watching the show after we reached 70mph. I don't fancy experiencing that again, even if someone tells me it's all about embracing the future. - [Self-driving cars: Autonomous driving levels explained]( A MESSAGE FROM SPONSOR Want to do the Wings for Life run? They look as if they've fallen off the back of a time-travelling starship. Our quick verdict While the wild cyberpunk aesthetic is certainly the main draw for these earbuds, the audio fidelity and functionality are impressive in their own right. You can find earbuds with superior features and specs in this price range, but none come anywhere close to offering the flair and personality of the Sirius Pro. Only the touch controls and battery life let these buds down. [Read our review.]( In Case You Missed it [Thrustmaster]( launches a pro Xbox controller for smaller hands.
