Get them to [sign up here.]( Ford clarifies electric plans: Mid-sized crossover in 2023, Ford Puma EV in 2024 alongside a new sports crossover Ford What's happened? With the Ford Mustang Mach-e already out on the roads, the company has [clarified]( more of the details around its near-future electrical plans. Why does it matter? Ford recently announced a big change to the business: Ford Model e is the umbrella that covers electric passenger vehicles, Ford Blue is the combusion business, while Ford Pro covers the commercial (vans) side. Moving to the specifics of the new announcement, Ford has confirmed that it will be building a new electric medium-sized crossover in 2023 at its production facility in Cologne, Germany. What's my take? Ford has been dragging its heels, being fairly slow compared to others about getting into the EV market, but with the 2030 deadline looming, it looks like that's about to change. Now, says Ford this morning, we're getting a pretty aggressive timetable to correct that allowing those who enjoy driving the brand to continue doing so into the electric future we are all heading towards. Super Nintendo World theme park expanding to US in 2023 Universal Studio / Nintendo What's happened? Universal Studios Hollywood [plans to introduce]( a Super Nintendo World section to its theme park in 2023. Why does it matter? The first Nintendo-centric park finally opened in Japan last year after numerous delays, not least thanks to the pandemic. Built as part of Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, it features rides and experiences based on the Mario games. What's my take? With a movie due in December and the Switch continuing to deliver the goods, it's no surprise that Nintendo and Universal are keen to capitalise on that success with a theme park for people to enjoy. A new combat engine makes in-ring action smooth, fluid and fun, while the improved graphics (on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S especially) do the superstars justice. There are a few minor foibles here and there, but WWE 2K22 is easily the best in the series for many a year.
