Oppo has [revealed]( its flagship smartphone lineup for the year, and - as expected - it's the Find X5 Pro that leads the line, with the regular X5 and X5 Lite following along behind it. Why does it matter? The X5 Pro is set to be one of the best premium phones on the market this year. What's my take? Phone makers are always looking for new materials to excite customers. Choosing ceramic rather than glass on rear panel is a clear signal, to me, that Oppo wants to impress the luxury market. Combine that with a bevy of specs that are sure to impress and you're looking at a device that will certainly define flagship for many. It seems that Oppo's only challenge now, is to convince you the brand is one you want to be seen with above all others, and is worthy of your cash. That's a lot harder to do, something that will take time, but like Huawei before it, I suspect will be achieved eventually. - [Oppo Find X5 Pro initial review: Gorgeous flagship]( Elon Musk wants you to play Steam games in your Tesla Unsplash What's happened? Tesla CEO Elon Musk said his electric car company is [trying]( to bring to Steam to Tesla vehicles. Why does it matter? He was asked on Twitter when Cyberpunk 2077 was coming to Tesla vehicles. In response, Musk announced Tesla is working to make Steamâs library of games work directly on Teslaâs software. "Weâre working through the general case of making Steam games work on a Tesla vs specific titles", he tweeted. "Former is obviously where we should be long-term." What's my take? Having a handful of games is fun, having multiple seems like a distraction for both Tesla owners and the company itself. Of course there is the long play here, that when cars drive themselves we'll need entertaining, but I still believe we're a long way off from that. - [Tesla models compared: Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Cybertruck and more]( Elden Ring review: Dark Souls goes open-world to stunning effect From Software What's happened? Elden Ring is a game that needs little introduction - it is the most anticipated game since CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, marking an evolution of legendary developer From Software's well-worn but irresistible formula, with added (albeit subtle rather than apparently shoehorned-in) input from Game of Thrones author George RR Martin. Our quick verdict From Software takes its blueprint into open-world territory in typically triumphant fashion. Think 'Dark Souls meets Zelda' - or, if anything, something even better - with classic Soulslike gameplay taken into a mind-blowingly brilliant gameworld.
