Get them to [sign up here.]( Tinder adds Blind Date feature for photo-free first impressions Tinder What's happened? Tinder users can now opt for [blind date-style matches]( with a new feature added to the Explore section of the app. Why does it matter? Available in the US first and rolling out to global Tinder members soon, Fast Chat: Blind Date will pair users ahead of seeing each others' profiles. That way they do not know what their prospective date looks like before chatting first. It works by asking members a series of short ice-breaker questions and then pairing them with others who give likeminded answers. The paired members will then enter a timed chat, showing only their responses from the previous, multiple-choice round. After the timer runs out, they can choose whether to match or not. What's my take? It sounds horrendous. Oculus Quest 2 leak suggests body tracking support is coming Pocket-lint What's happened? Following Meta's recent [changes]( to the Unity Development Resources for the Quest 2, the Oculus SDK contains a dropdown menu for 'Body Tracking Support'. Why does it matter? While the Quest 2 does have two downward-facing cameras, their placement means they can only really see the users body when they are seated and looking slightly downward. It's more likely that we see this feature on the upcoming Quest Pro, Project Cambria headsets, or maybe even a standalone device akin to the Vive Tracker 3.0. What's my take? It makes logical sense for VR companies to try to work out where your body is to better recreate "you" in the virtual world. And, if Meta is going to persuade us to live in its all-encompassing Metaverse, making it as realistic as possible will be top of the agenda. However, it also says to me that the days of sitting on your couch while you pretend to move around are probably going to be a thing of the past. Garmin Vivomove Sport review: Best of both worlds? Pocket-lint What's happened? The Vivomove Sport offers Garmin's great tracking features, complete with physical watch hands and a semi-hidden display, all at a really enticing price point. Our quick verdict It is a really great new option for those who don't want a full smartwatch but who would like to get some more in-depth tracking. It turns out that the original Star Wars: A New Hope was released on 25 May 1977, so the launch day celebrates 45 years since the original movie release date. Every day is a school day. Thanks Rob.
