According to a TrendForce report (via 91 Mobiles), the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will [come with a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor](. Why does it matter? That's a huge jump in resolution from the 12-megapixel sensor currently on board the iPhone 13 Pro models. What's my take? Smartphone makers, like Apple, continue to see the camera as the reason for you to upgrade your phone and it looks like, if the rumours are true, that trend isn't likely to stop any time soon. Say cheese! Meta Facebook smartwatch patent shows detachable display and camera LetsGoDigital What's happened? [A patent filing]( about a new smartwatch from Meta (formally Facebook) has been unearthed. Why does it matter? Interestingly, the device will have a detachable display as well as multiple cameras that can be selected by rotating the screen. What's my take? Reminds me of the 1980s Pop Swatch that would allow you to pop it in and out of different bands and wear it as a necklace. Of course, by allowing the screen and therefore the included cameras to be detached from the band quickly should allow you to use it as a camera in its own right. Maybe even a sensor within an AR/VR experience. It's an interesting concept. Let's hope the actual device works as well as the concept sounds.
