Hey, I noticed that we rarely write stories about the cheerful thoughts we share within our team. We put together in-depth articles about our learnings, experiences, takeaways, products, trial-and-errors, and such, but we somehow stay away from the naive aspects. I genuinely believe that's part of life, too, so why exclude it? Today, I have a double treat for you—two gems of stories that highlight various nuances about us and our work. On the one hand, this year, Pixelgrade turns ten. We're up for celebrating (in a way or another) during the entire 2021. There's no wonder that there's no such thing as the perfect moment. Carpe diem, they say. I wrote an article about [ten things you might not know about us](. They will help you find new pieces of the puzzle and glue them together to better understand the people behind the curtain. Keen to hear an example? Well, how about the fact that we dream of having an incubator at some point or that we will not do an exit in the Silicon Valley spirit? On the other hand, Andrei and George, my fellow teammates, worked closely to walk you through the process of [creating a conversation](system that we already use on our website and in one of our themes and it works beautifully. Yes, you guessed it! This article gives you a glimpse of the profound version of us. Leaving the joke aside, we believe we need fewer comments and more conversations in the digital landscape. Encouraging people to take their time to add value to an existing dialogue comes with a fair share of challenges. We overcame them in a way that is aligned with one of our core values—excellence. In more concrete terms, have you ever wondered how the lack of context can hugely impact the result of a discussion? We made this exercise. Depending on your mood when starting this week, feel free to choose the lecture that fits your needs best. If you want something more relaxed and lighthearted, go with the first. On the contrary, if you're interested in fostering engagement with your audience, kick-off with the second story. Whatever you decide is okay. We hope you will share your thoughts regardless of the choice you are going to make. Have a serene week ahead, —Oana P.S. Twice a month, we send a special newsletter with a story written by people across the globe. Usually, it’s a vulnerable narrative about their becoming. Join the [Upstairs Community]( to get them directly in your inbox. Why I'm getting this? You’re receiving this email because you use one of our free or premium products.
