ย ย Hey {NAME} ? I hope you are navigating the ebbs and flows of life and work as best you can.

ร‚ ร‚ Hey {NAME} ๐Ÿ‘‹ I hope you are navigating the ebbs and flows of life and work as best you can. While the constant dynamics of "I'm feeling good, I'm feeling terrible" will stick with us for a while, I genuinely hope for a better future. I'm contributing to everything I can and makes sense. Such as writing these lines from a place of care and kindness. Therefore, I hope you are confident while reading them. I wanted to tell you that we turned nine at Pixelgrade, and [I put together a thoughtful story]( about what changed along the way. For some, we're still young and restless; for others, we're a mature business. In the last couple of months, I tried to find a metaphor to express what it means to have nine years of experience under the belt, and I came up with this one: a medium-sized dog. The underdog label is well known among entrepreneurs, and it refers to someone who has little chance of winning. You would not bet your money on it, but they often surprise everyone with their grit and attitude. I feel like we overcame that label, and today we are more of a medium-sized dog, which means a few different things, depending on the perspective. On an intellectual level, we know more and get less inspiration from what others are doing in the WordPress ecosystem, leaving room for explorations that feel right to us. On an emotional level, we learned to recognize and manage how we feel far better than in the past. Today, feelings guide us, not block us. On a financial level, we stay away from cookie-cutter approaches and give our best to be pragmatic with how we earn and spend the money we make through our hard work. While we're still acting like an underdog in specific situations, we genuinely believe we internalized the maturity we got in the last couple of years and adjusted everything to the new reality. This moment in life comes with plenty of big and small changes, but all of them align with what guides us every day: our values. Therefore, we will continue to put them at the forefront of everything we do. รขยยณ In advance, I take this opportunity to let you know that we will no longer run discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In more outright words, we will not give discounts anytime soon, and we have good reasons that I feel the need to share with you. First of all, we are a small independent team (only eight people), and we've been building digital products without any investment or extra help. Our money, time, knowledge, craft, and energy are the only things we put on the table. Second of all, we've been working hard to provide outstanding products and a memorable customer support experience that people appreciate. Anything under the listed prices affects us directly since we invest a lot of effort in everything we do. Here's the thing: it's essential to support small players like us within the WordPress ecosystem, and your contribution makes the difference. The crowded landscape is full of big companies with a huuuuge profit margin, and some get to those numbers by selling the work of others and taking 70% from each sale. On top of all this, we want to be here in the long-haul and keep the commitment of making the digital place better. For that to happen, we need to make sure we have the means to keep our wheels spinning. In the end, it feels liberating to have this clarity and peace of mind as we turn 9. Grateful for everything, Oana ร‚ Pixelgrade, 5 Vasile Alecsandri Street, 700054 Iasi, Romania[Unsubscribe](
