Last weekend’s race in Albstadt will be followed up this weekend by racer favourite Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic. Rebecca McConnell has been on a tear so far this year, taking both wins in over the longer distance as well as a win in Short Track, while Tom Pidcock and Nino Schurter have one win apiece in the Olympic distance. Will Nino be able to best Julien Absalon’s record of 33 World Cup wins after equalling it in Petropolis earlier this year? World Cup DH race fans have much to be excited about as well as we head to Fort William the weekend after. The British National DH race saw a stacked lineup of teams and racers, with Danny Hart and Nina Hoffman going fastest in the latest test ahead of the World Cup. The start of the EWS season is not far behind with the first race taking place in the Tweed Valley on June 4, which means it is time to pick your team for round one of Fantasy EWS.
