We got a new payment provider and Premium members have a bigger advantage now! [Image] Update Newsletter STRIPE & Subscription Dear creative minds, We are excited to announce some big changes for payments on Picarto.TV and for our subscription feature! These changes are already live and enabled for all payments. New Payment Provider – STRIPE With Stripe, we found a new and promising payment provider for upcoming features as well as allowing us to have additional payment methods in the future. Stripe is a global player for different kinds of payments and a trusted partner of ours. All payments for subscriptions, memberships and upcoming features will be processed through Stripe from now on. PayPal is still available for basic and premium subscriptions. A big benefit of this is that your Picarto membership can be managed through your Picarto settings from now on. New Subscription Rules From now on payments will be processed instantly. This means you don’t have to wait a month to receive your earnings, and instead are able to use it right as someone subscribes to you. To collect your subscription earnings you must connect your Stripe account with Picarto.TV from now on. Therefore, you need to re-activate your subscription in your [settings](. All old subscriptions are still active and can only be canceled by the subscribers. But for future payouts, streamers will require a Stripe account. Commission Change for Subscriptions Attention, Premium users! We changed our commission for your subscriptions. Instead of 50%, we will only charge 5% of the total amount of new subscriptions! Free and Basic users still get a 50% cut. This way we want to support our Premium users even more. Furthermore, subscriptions won’t be permanent anymore. Users can buy the following subscriptions from now on: - 1 month ($4,99) - 2 months ($9,98) - 3 months ($14,97) Also, here the revenue sharing model with the new percentages: Commission tiers - Free – 50% Picarto fee - Basic – 50% Picarto fee - Premium – 5% Picarto fee This way we want to lower the inhibition threshold for users to support Picarto artists. You can always see your monthly revenue in your Settings>Financials>My Revenue in a convenient chart!
