Hey {NAME}, It wasn’t always like this… I struggled for years to take everything I learned

Hey {NAME}, It wasn’t always like this… I struggled for years to take everything I learned and synthesize it into a process that could teach others how to resolve their own pain. When I got out of PT school, I was anxious to treat patients… I felt like I just “wasn’t getting it.” Turns out, I just wasn’t accepting it. Meaning, I couldn’t settle for what I was seeing in healthcare and PT clinics across the world. Mostly junk and lack of reasoning. Here’s a sheet of exercises, do these here and at home. Here’s a hot pack. Here’s some massage. Let’s mix it all together and hope it works. I thought, "there has GOT to be a better way…" I asked too many questions and almost got fired from the only 2 PT jobs I held before carving my own path. I “wasn’t productive enough”- I valued educating and empowering people like you. Insurance didn’t have a billable code for that. On top of that, I only gave one or two exercises - barely enough to bill 💵 I “asked too many questions”- and therefore I was “arrogant.” I really just wanted to know “why” everything was being done. Why did you tell someone that- in that tone. Why did you recommend that exercise and not that one… how do you know it will work? How come you did that test first and that one second- why in that order? I asked deep questions…. And got superficial answers. So many questions. I interviewed for residencies (speciality programs) and eventually moved my wife, Heather, and I across country because I ”wanted to be my best.” PTs at USC wrote the books and published some neat research in the field of PT. LETS GO! But day 1 of orientation… sitting with 5 other orthopedic residents at the Movement Performance Institute near LAX… I was told by THE author of Clinical Guidelines (spells out how we should treat folks as PTs) that at the end of the day… all treatment is just a… “WILD A$$ GUESS!” I thought to myself- you’ve gotta be kidding me- I just came all this way to hear this?… As the year went on- I continued to feel like something was missing. I learned from all the gurus, but something wasn’t clicking. “When would I ever get it” went through my head. I studied relentlessly and traveled to work with all the “gurus” on my days off. Eventually, I began to synthesize all the different approaches and saw common threads... I studied communication, human psychology, and read books like “how to win friends and influence people.” I wanted to understand the entire human pain experience- and connect the dots for people in pain- so they didn’t have to… I transitioned from fixer (all hands-on) to teacher (no hands-on) as I learned the power of teaching people like you “how to fish.” It took me ten years to lay out my pain relief process… but once I did- there was no going back. It was so much more powerful than working privately with folks 1-on-1 and created deep long lasting results- real changes. (Not, quick temporary feel good stuff). I became less timid- and after following a system- I continued to refine things, more and more… The Glute Relief Accelerator Program is now in its 4th version- with plans for the 5th and 6th in the next couple years. It challenged me in its creations and will continue to challenge me in its refinement. It’s my life’s work, no where near perfect, yet… If you’re in pain, my promise is that it will challenge you to think outside the box- it WILL change you. If you put in the WORK.
