Intent > Action. Let me explain... Andy just posted this inside our Private Healing Community- and you can see my response: Are you pickinâ up what Iâm puttinâ down? Andy wants to start strengthening from a place of "lack"⦠because he feels he needs to fully resolve his pain. Why? I dunno⦠BUT, heâs telling himself that if he doesnât strengthen, he may not get to 100%. And IF he chooses to strengthen from this place of being someone who is afraid⦠he will receive more reasons to be fearful. Be it more pain, or more anxiety about getting back to running, or more worry- or something⦠because his INTENT is off. But, if heâs strengthening with the INTENT of getting stronger because thatâs what he enjoys doing and when he feels himself- heâll be fine. Same action- Strengthening. Different intent- Fear/ "what if" vs. Curiosity/ "just because" Might sound odd, but try it on... What if instead of approaching pain relief from a place of pressure, you approached it from a place of adventure. An opportunity to learn about your mind and body. Could you take the same actions and get a different result? Try it on. Let me know,
