Hey {NAME}- Wanted to share this with you... The 7th Annual Johnson Family Christmas Letter For 2022

Hey {NAME}- Wanted to share this with you... The 7th Annual Johnson Family Christmas Letter For 2022 Thursday, December 8, 2022 1:37am Happy Holidays, Everyone! What a weird time to be writing a letter, huh- 1:37am! I should be sleeping, but couldn’t get comfy, not to mention I’ve got a bit of a headache. Nonetheless, this is often the time I feel most creative, so I decided… let’s write our Christmas Letter! Weird stuff, I know… Anywho, I want to start off by admitting that I’ve been a bit of a Grinch lately. Which is totally crazy, because life has never been better and I have nothing to be Grinchy about. That being said, as much as this is the Annual Johnson Family Christmas Letter that ya’ll have been waiting for, I think it may just be exactly what I need to turn my Grinchy grouchy old self around (I turned 33 this year). “You become what you think about.” It’s the “Strangest Secret” according to Earl Nightingale… and a quote I heard long ago (thanks to Chad Madden), but ironically haven’t taken much time to “practice” it lately. And so, I’d like to start by challenging myself and everyone this holiday season to think of all you’re grateful for. So, as I update you, I’ll be sharing all that I’m grateful for. Family 1st: Camryn. Also known as Babycakes, CamBam & Pumpkin Nood (don’t ask, I made that one up)... she turned a whopping 5 years old this year. One full hand! Holy smokes- she’s growing up so fast. I caught a glimpse of gray hair in my beard the other day, but boy oh boy am I grateful for all the grays she’s given me. She totally smoked me in GO FISH last night & has just the sweetest voice, “Daddy, do you have a pufferfish?” (heart melts). Cute as a button. Oh, another thing I love about her is her dreamy giggles. Yup, heard that… she’ll be knocked out cold, 2am, and she’ll randomly let out a few good belly laughs. I am grateful. Cam-er-onie is healthy & strong. She loves showing her “guns” and eating protein so she can get big muscles “like Da-Da.” Aside from morning pre-daycare pull-ups, she recently climbed the entire rockwall at Urban Air. She’s one tough cookie. All around, she’s growing up to be such a sweetheart… and a daddy’s girl at that. She’s a lot like me - sassy, determined little thing who doesn’t like when things don’t go her way. I’m grateful for this… she’s bold and will carve her own path. Heather. (won’t share her nicknames) What a blessing and someone I’m beyond grateful for. This past year, she’s worn so many hats. Aside from the usual mom, organizer of the house, and biz partner- she’s taken on so much more and become my greatest source of inspiration (when I grow up, I want to be like her). Now that I stop to think about it- I’m grateful for all the little things she does (which aren’t really little at all). Aside from me occasionally having to ask, “Hun, do I have more clean undies?”... and having to improvise for a day or so… she’s on top of everything. Laundry, cooking good, healthy, homemade food, paying bills, packing Camryn’s lunch, showering her, and making sure everything is tidy (NOT easy when you have two tornados, Camryn and I, blowing through the house every day). You name it, she does it. You could call her supermom! Not only am I grateful for her, but it sounds like I need to do some stepping up to the plate! She’s my greatest asset. Dream Come True: I haven’t shared this publicly… but the Johnson family is moving! Okay, not so fast… but this past year (March 2022) we settled on a 7 acre plot of protected land somewhere in Green Lane, PA. Quiet, lots of woods, deer, and native plants. Feels like home. More to be grateful for… In fact, most of it is wetlands (no, not a swamp), but a protected ecosystem know for it’s “biodiversity.” The neighbors are awesome, and we’ve got plans to build our dream home with a wildflower field. It’s even got a small “pond” outback for skating in the winter. Plus, plenty of trees for treestands and Camryn’s treehouse (which should come first?!). Chances are, we won’t break ground until spring/summer 2023 and then we’ve got roughly a year build from there. With enough persistence & consistent effort over time (compound effect), dreams really can come true. For this, I am grateful. Business: You may not know this, but we’ve gone 100% virtual. As a “physical” therapist, some people might find this odd, but it’s been a beautiful thing. When I opened my private practice 7 years ago, I knew quite a bit about helping folks in pain (specifically back & sciatica issues). A couple years in, I realized something profound- “I was good at fixing people in the moment, but people in pain were terrible at fixing themselves.” BINGO! My teacher instinct kicked in, and I made the leap from fixing people to teaching people how to fix themselves. And in doing so, the results have been insane… With Heather’s help and feedback from hundreds of back pain sufferers across the globe, we developed an online consulting program- designed to teach people worldwide with back, butt, and sciatica pains how to fix themselves naturally. With a little help from my YouTube channel- IT TOOK OFF! Since then, we’ve grown, brought on an amazing member of the community (Tracy) to support clients and are in the process of hiring someone on the sales side in preparation for growth and enrolling/serving many more people in 2023. I am grateful for my ability to serve, and I am grateful to do it alongside my biggest fan and partner in crime, Heather. I think that wraps things up and brings you up to speed (only 2:48am- not bad). I’m headed back to bed now, but I want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thank YOU for being a part of the “family.” Be Great(ful), Dr. Charlie Johnson (plus Heather & Camryn, too, of course!) Wishing you a safe, healthy and Merry Christmas/ happy holidays (whatever you may celebrate, wherever you are)! -Charlie At [physicaltherapyjohnson.com](, we are strongly committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe & high-quality online experience for all of our visitors.
