Hey {NAME}, Quick life story that will help you resolve your pain… Yesterday morning, I’m

Hey {NAME}, Quick life story that will help you resolve your pain… Yesterday morning, I’m eating breakfast next to my daughter who’s watching “Onward.” An animated movie about two elf brothers named Ian and Barley who set out on a 24 hour quest to find a gem that will temporarily bring back their dad who passed away... It all starts when they receive a magic stick/wand… they say some weird spell and boom- their dad's legs come alive… but his upper half is not visible. This magic wand gives them special powers and is operated by the power of their mind (ideas, thoughts, beliefs). At one point in the movie, the brothers need to cross a canyon… with the power of desire + belief… Ian begins walking across the canyon… floating in thin air… holding fully onto the belief that you “can do it” and having faith in the magic which is leading him to reconnect with his dad. For security purposes, his brother attached a rope to him (just in case he did really fall- he would be caught). Ian’s just about to make it to the other side of the canyon when he looks back… and see’s Barley holding the rope (not connected to him anymore for "just in case")… At that moment- doubt takes over, fear fogs his mind and he falls… Now, luckily he catches himself (otherwise my daughter would be in tears)... But what’s the point? FAITH in belief and trusting in his path forward carried him through… but FEAR quickly caused him to crash. Could the same be happening to you? You’re doing alright… then you have a bit of a flare up or setback and FEAR kicks in… causing you to spiral out of control, down the research rabbit hole into a deep dark hole full of fear, worry, and concern. Very common… but totally preventable. Fear of movement doesn’t have to control your life. Fear of your diagnosis doesn’t have to control your life. And fear of “what if” doesn’t have to lead the way. Sound familiar? If you’re tired of pain having power over you- know that you’re not alone and chances are we can help you help yourself.
