Hey {NAME}, My wife’s phone buzzed on the floor next to our bed... bzzzz, bzzzz, bzzzz 4:10am on Sunday morning (yesterday - Easter). I flipped it over- missed call from my mom. You and I both know that a 4am phone call from your mom is never a good sign. My belly started to churn. My wife called her back… “Susan, is everything okay?” “Brandon (my brother) was just placed on a ventilator.” WHAT! What happened? What do you mean? I just talked to him the other day and he seemed fine… I felt a rush of emotions. And I broke down… Just sobbing. Then angry. Then sobbing. We gathered some belongings and rushed out the door (my wife, daughter and I) 1.5 hours later we arrived at the ICU where we met his wife Kailey and I saw my brother Brandon. I’m writing this on my way home for the night- time for some rest. Things started off sketchy- but he exceeded expectations of the medical team and it seems as though he’ll make it. They plan to attempt weaning him off the ventilator tomorrow (today). I still can’t believe it. If you’ve watched my content- you may have noticed that I'm a passionate young pup- 34 years old to be exact. My little brother Brandon- he’s just 31. Now, I share all this for a couple reasons. 1- to “get it off my chest” a bit. (thank you for listening) And 2- to ask for your support/prayers. If you’re receiving this email, it’s because you’ve supported me in some way, shape, or form. From downloading one of my resources- to setting up a time to chat with my team and working with me inside my Glute Relief Accelerator Program- or simply commenting on my YouTube channel or “silently” observing the things I create. Either way- it doesn’t matter- I am grateful for your support and I ask for continued support during this challenging time. If I’ve helped you in any way- or you simply believe in the power of prayer... Could you please do me a favor… And keep my little brother Brandon in your thoughts & prayers? It would mean the world to me. And don’t worry- I won’t “leave you hanging.” If you don’t mind- I’ll shoot you an update. He’s gonna make it 💪🏻 Talk soon, Dr Charlie PS- Vitals are stable PPS- Call that friend, visit that family member, take some time to catch up, and carve out some space to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
