Hey photographers, here is something you'll find useful to improve your landscape shots... Hey, Gold

Hey photographers, here is something you'll find useful to improve your landscape shots... [Home]( Hey, Golden hour – the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset – is often praised for its perfect light to capture stunning photos. While it does offer a unique, warm glow, it's not the be-all and end-all. Here are some compelling reasons to rethink this “golden rule”: 1. Tricky Lighting: The contrast between light and shadow can be tricky to manage, sometimes resulting in overexposed highlights or underexposed shadows. 2. The Clock's Ticking: Golden hour is short. You're racing against the clock to get that perfect shot, and sometimes you might rush and mess it up. 3. Been There, Done That: The popularity of golden hour makes it challenging to create standout, original work. 4. Color Overload: The orange and yellow hues are cool, but they can drown out other colors in your shot. 5. Weather Woes: What if it's cloudy or rainy? There goes your perfect golden hour shot. 6. Other Times Rock Too: Don't forget about other times of the day, or even nighttime. Ever tried capturing a landscape with a full moon or a crystal-clear blue sky at noon? It's a whole different vibe, and sometimes even cooler than golden hour. Bottom line, don't limit yourself to the golden hour. Try shooting at different times and in different lighting to really make your photos pop. You might find that the real "golden" shots come when you break the rules. A checklist can be a great way to remind you of all the points that you need to consider to get the perfect shot and not miss a photo opportunity.
