We are incredibly proud to announce the appointment of four new members who will be joining our board of directors this year! As we continue to grow and expand the way we connect communities and audiences with storytelling, we are deeply motivated to know that we have an experienced and supportive board of directors behind Photoville. Their collective experience in community building, visual communications and strategic operations make them wonderful additions to our existing board of directors that includes Dr. Deborah Willis, Viktor Koen, Justin Lunin-Pack, Nagesh Chetan, Kit von Dalwig, Laura Roumanos, and Paul Samulski. We would also like to give a heart-felt thanks to former members Elodie Malliet Storm and Teresa Gonzalez, who have supported us for many years and continue to be friends of Photoville. But! We have one rule: No babies and no pets (sorry, it’s just too easy!) Photoville, along with a special guest judge, will help to pick our favorites. Winners get bragging rights and a chance to talk about their picture on the air. (👀 Some submissions may also be considered for an in-person gallery show!) The award welcomes applicants from the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, and Canada (excluding Québec). This year’s award celebrates the power of perspective, inviting applicants to submit a photo essay made with any make/model camera, under themes of reclamation, resilience and rebirth.​ A total of four Awardees will be announced on March 8th, representing one recipient from each region.
