Saturday June 3 | 12pm - 10pm Sunday June 4 | 12pm - 8pm [Emily Warren Roebling Plaza - Brooklyn Bridge Park]( From unveiling 80+ outdoor exhibitions to a number of family-friendly activities, photowalks, workshops, and artist talks, the #photovillefestival is sure to bring the fun this summer. [Join us in celebrating our 12th year]( alongside other photo lovers, families, and New Yorkers in Brooklyn Bridge Park and seize the opportunity to explore the city and discover an array of visual stories from around the world. OPENING WEEKEND EVENT HIGHLIGHTS While all in-person and virtual events are free, some events will require you to RSVP on a first-come, first-serve basis! Saturday June 3 | 7pm - 10pm [Brooklyn Bridge Park – Empire Fulton Ferry Lawn]( After discovering all the [exhibitions]( there are to see, creating [zines]( with your family, and meeting an artist during a [photowalk]( end the night with us as we commemorate our 12th year! This will be an evening of photography that reflects how we see our history: including a centennial celebration of [TIME Magazine]( and an intimate reflection on returning home to Iraq by [The Washington Post]( staff photographer Salwan Georges. We’ll also be celebrating our local NYC communities with presentations from [We Build The Block]( and [Magnum Foundation]( and topping it all off with a special preview of “Contact High,” showcasing the history of hip-hop photography.
