The Photoville and [PhotoWings]( team would like to thank all new and returning educators for applying to the 2023 Educator Exhibition Grant. We are so grateful for the constant support and interest in our programs, and excited to be a part of the students’ stories to share this year. Now that applications are closed, the Photoville team will be in review and delivering decisions through email by March 22nd, 2023. ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: St. Ann’s Warehouse and Good Chance Theater Present: The Jungle Currently showing at [St. Ann’s Warehouse]( [The Jungle]( tells the story of a community of refugees in Calais, France. Each one their own, this immersive storytelling captures the very real experiences of refugees seeking safety, community, and home. As a part of #TheJungleSAW, Photoville had the opportunity to produce and curate a photo exhibition photographed and created by [Cinthya Santos Briones]( titled [Living In Sanctuary](. Cinthya’s work draws in a visual showcase of what is currently happening across the United States. Highlighting images and illustrations that are rarely seen in mainstream media, she tells the story of the personal moments asylum seekers experience as they establish home, routine, and community. While tickets are currently sold out for the remainder of the Brooklyn show, be sure to visit their [calendar]( to check for last minute ticket releases before they head to Washington, DC!
