HUMANS OF DEMENTIA [Humans of Dementia]( on view at Old Fulton Street and Prospect Street in DUMBO, is a national storytelling contest for high school and college students. Using visual and written stories, six high school and college artists share their experiences about a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. [Community Heroes]( seeks local Brooklyn photographers, and youth writers: ages 13-23, to interview Fort Greene residents for a banner that will go up this fall in the Brooklyn neighborhood. Artists will select the community hero they'd like to work with from an assigned list. They'll meet their community hero for a photoshoot or interview lasting up to two hours.
