[image] Weekly Newsletter - May 28, 2019 Happy National Hamburger Day! A humble travel tripod? Game-changing? Seriously? In a word: Yes! A few weeks ago, the fine folks at Peak Design sent me a pre-release version of their new Travel Tripod to review. In the weeks since, I’ve played around with this thing a lot. And I have to say - I’m completely floored by its design and functionality. In fact, this is a game-changing item of photography gear. I’m pretty sure that’s never been said about a tripod before! After all, tripods have basically been the same for years. Same old designs, zero innovation. But Peak Design has spent ELEVEN YEARS working on this thing, and all that time and effort has paid off. This is as good as it gets for a tripod. I wrote an article last week about Peak Design’s Kickstarter campaign (which sailed past its $500,000 goal in less than an hour!). I also included an initial video review of the Travel Tripod in that article, so be sure to check it out. It’s VERY exciting stuff (no bull!)
