[image] Weekly Newsletter - May 21, 2019 Happy Talk Like Yoda Day! “Best photography gear share with you I must” as Yoda might say! Ok, so it’s my second week with the Panasonic GH5. The positive initial impressions of it that I shared with you last week? They are even more solidified now... This thing is absolutely incredible, especially considering it’s a two-year-old camera. While using it to take photos and videos of my son’s birthday last weekend, I was floored with the image and video quality. The 12-60mm lens was ideal for the party (apologies for the typo last week...I accidentally said it was a 20-60mm lens). It helped me get some nice individual and group photos of the party. As for new gear this week, I’m having a blast with the Feiyu Tech AK2000 gimbal that I mentioned last week for stabilizing my shots. On a videography note, I’m also eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new Ikan Stratus Cage for the GH5 (it should be here this afternoon...YES!!). I prefer to use a cage because it’s so easy to mount my mic, lights, and other accessories (plus it looks really stinking cool). Seriously, once you use a cage, it’s tough to go back. I’ll have a complete review of that coming up, so stay tuned!
