[image] With Thanksgiving just around the corner here in the U.S., it’s a good time to think about gratefulness... What’s that got do with photography, you ask? More than you may think... To be grateful, you have to take the time to appreciate things in life. Especially the small things. Not too different to photography, right? You need to pause, reflect, and survey a scene before you take the shot. Finding small, fascinating details to highlight in your photos often improves them too. With that in mind, I put together a [quick guide on how to photograph gratefulness]( that helps to clarify this connection. Here’s some food for thought: - How mindfulness helps you to appreciate the things worthy of gratitude (and helps to identify subjects to photograph within the gratefulness theme) - How to create meaningful images highlighting the abstract concept of gratefulness - How to use your skills and talent to capture other people’s gratefulness I think we can all agree that the world needs a little more love and happiness. And I can’t think of a better way to spread the love than being grateful for all we have and taking some awesome pictures to represent that sentiment. If you need a little kickstart to your gratefulness project, [head over to the forum]( to see some images I’ve uploaded that fit well within the gratefulness theme. While you’re there, why not download them and try your hand at editing them as well? Taking a few minutes to polish your post-processing skills is definitely something you’ll be grateful for down the road, right?! Be sure to share your edits with us in the forum thread by November 23, 2018. Enjoy your week! Alex [image] P.S. Want to take better pictures? [Try PT+Pro for only $1](.
