"The Day May Break, Chapter Two," by Nick Brandt is part of the artists ongoing global series + Interview with Artist [NICK BRANDT]( [THE DAY MAY BREAK CHAPTER TWO]( [Limited Edition Book with Prints]( photo-eye Gallery is thrilled to announce that Nick Brandt's NEW book is now in stock! The Day May Break is an ongoing global series that sheds light on the harsh realities of environmental degradation and destruction faced by both humans and animals. [Chapter Two]( of Brandt's series captures the stark truth through a poignant collection of images taken in Bolivia in 2022. Within these images, we witness the lives of individuals profoundly impacted by climate change. They have endured the brutal consequences of extreme droughts and devastating floods that have left their homes and livelihoods in ruins. The series also features animals, many of whom have been rescued from the brink of destruction. These creatures have fallen victim to habitat loss and the cruelty of wildlife trafficking. Today, they find solace and care within the Senda Verde Animal Sanctuary, the very backdrop against which this series unfolds. While unable to return to the wild, these animals have adapted to human presence, enabling them to safely coexist and be photographed together in the same frame. The compelling narratives shared within [The Day May Break, Chapter Two]( serve as a reminder of the urgent need for environmental awareness and decisive action. Through these evocative images and stories, we are compelled to acknowledge the critical importance of safeguarding our environment and working towards a sustainable future.
