As the daughter of two farm workers, she learned early on about the problematic conditions farm workers and laborers faced everywhere. The long hours, low wages, toxic pesticides, and poor working conditions led to many farm workers being injured or killed on the job. That's why in 1955, she sought to improve working conditions. [So {NAME}, join me as I honor and celebrate Dolores Huerta's work for our community today. Pledge to continue fighting for better wages, working conditions, and affordable healthcare for all.]( [SIGN THE PLEDGE]( Organizing farmworkers and laborers throughout California, Dolores, Cesar Chavez, Gilbert Padilla, and countless others led the fight for farm workers' rights. Organizing a series of boycotts that pressured our elected officials to act — led to the passage of the California Agricultural Labor Relations Act of 1975, which established the right for farm workers to bargain collectively and significantly improved the working conditions. All of which are still incredibly important today. As a monolith in the fight for workers' rights, Dolores Huerta has dedicated her life to fighting for social justice and workers everywhere. Now on her 93rd birthday, she continues to fight, advocating for women's rights, free college education, child care, affordable healthcare and the right to shelter for all. [So {NAME}, join me today and celebrate Dolores Huerta's 93rd birthday by pledging your commitment to continuing the fight for progress.]( ¡Vamos! – Phil Arballo [DONATE ONCE]( [DONATE MONTHLY]( Paid for by Arballo For Congress [Phil Arballo for Congress P.O. Box 3406 Fresno, CA 93650 United States](#) [www.philarballo.com](#) Phil Arballo is a Latino, a Central Valley native, a father, and a husband. And he's running for Congress in California. Phil is a champion for real working families and will fight to protect health care access, keep guns out of the wrong hands, and stand up to traitorous Republicans who are working to ruin our Democracy. One more thing: MAGA Republicans are desperate to win this race. Make no mistake: redistricting has made this district the most competitive it's been in decades, but we need every good Democrat to step up and do their part to beat them.
