Ninety percent of donations to the eight-year campaign were less than $5,000, although alumni Robert A. Day, Henry R. Kravis, and George R. Roberts were among 89 contributors to give more than $1 million. The college, which has about 1,300 students, will use the money to increase financial aid, create paid internships, build a host of new facilities, and create 23 named professorships and chairs.
