Nonprofit News From Elsewhere Online In Fresno, Calif., three women have built a small social-justice movement to champion those left impoverished and sickened by the regionâs sprawl and pollution. Sandra Celedon, Veronica Garibay, and Phoebe Seaton, veterans of legal- and health-assistance nonprofits, have defied powerful property owners, developers, and agricultural magnates to demand better conditions for those living in Fresnoâs forsaken Southside. Curry III, who co-founded the investment management firm Eagle Capital Management with his late wife, Beth, and GitHub co-founder Tom Preston-Werner and his wife, Theresa.
