But at this moment, [I'm only asking for $5, friend.]( You heard that right. Just $5. I know that $5 might not sound like much all on its own – especially when the GOP has raised literally hundreds of millions of dollars to retake the Senate majority. But will you let me explain why I know that your $5 will make a huge difference? You see, it's my job as chair of the DSCC to make sure that Democrats defend our Senate majority this fall. I know, it's a tall order. But I'm 100% confident that we can beat the odds – because we've done it before. I had this same job in 2022. And that election cycle looked pretty similar to the one we're heading into this year: The odds were stacked against Democrats. Experts were warning that the GOP could be on the cusp of retaking power. Polls were tied in the toughest states in the nation. Democrats had literally zero room for error. And the GOP's megadonors were pouring millions and millions into defeating us. But we all know how 2022 turned out: Democrats beat the odds. Even in the face of truly historic headwinds, we didn't lose a single seat. In fact, we even expanded our majority! Those victories didn't happen by chance. And we certainly didn't build a winning movement overnight. It took people like you stepping up again and again, refusing to accept defeat, investing in our candidates, and standing with our majority when it mattered most. In 2022, we proved that a grassroots movement, built just $5 at a time, can overcome even the toughest odds. Now, we need to do the same thing again in 2024. [That's why I'm asking you to donate $5 today, to put us one step closer to defeating the GOP and saving our majority this fall. Grassroots movements only work if we all step up, friend. So please, don't sit this one out: Chip in before midnight to make sure that our candidates can fight back and win.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $5]( [Donate $25]( [Donate $50]( [Rush another amount]( Thank you, Gary Peters PAID FOR BY PETERS FOR MICHIGAN Peters for Michigan PO Box 32072 Detroit, MI 48244 United States This message was sent to: {EMAIL} | Change or update your email address [here.]( If you would like to unsubscribe from our emails, click here to [unsubscribe](.
